 Has anyone heard any true reviews about Mary's Lake Lodge as a whole and in regards to weddings? Anyone just get married there?  I am totally digging the price and the rustic look of the place but there are a few nasty reviews on tripadvisor and sort of scared me.  I know there are always bad reviews for any place because people can be picky (or whiney) but just wanted to put this question out into the world to see what I get.  Also, if anyone that did just get married there, was the dance floor big enough for your wedding?  We are thinking about 100 people for our wedding, maybe less.  Thanks everyone!

 The only thing I can add to this is that last summer we had dinner their when there was a wedding reception going on next door.  It looked like everyone was having a blast!!  And it looked very nice.

 Never been to a wedding there, nor did I have my wedding there.  BUT, I lived in CO about 4 years ago and ABSOLUTELY LOVED Mary's Lake Lodge.  Phenomenal food & service.  Beautiful place, stunning views.....

Not sure if that helps, but unless things have SIGNIFICANTLY changed since I've been there, I think this would be a great location!  Good luck!

 Shot plenty of weddings there.

Never had a bad experience.  The staff / wedding party and guests deal with Estes Park's sudden changes in weather with NO problems.   Always a great experience.

 The wedding I went to there was a blast! and we stayed there which was even better...im getting married at Estes Condos since our friends got married there but if they didnt that would be the place we would get married at!

 I've photographed a number of weddings there. 

The staff will go the distance. I watched them put together an improptu ceremony during a Christmas Blizzard that prevented the International guest list from driving down the Canyon.


I once saw them struggle with delivering a timely plated dinner. Two hours from salad to the last entree served.


But it's a stunning venue for smaller to medium-sized weddings ... 60 guests seems perfect for that room.
